How Rent-to-Own Works

Small Deposit or 1st Month’s Payment: 

To get started with our Rent-to-Own program, we only require a small Security Deposit* or the 1st Month’s Payment. After this initial payment, your building will be delivered and set up (for FREE within 50 Miles of Pace). Your next month's payment generally isn't due until your shed has already been delivered and we have reached out to you to set up your account and payment preferences. This usually takes about 30 to 45 days. *8’&10’wide=$150, 12’wide=$250, 14’wide=$750, 16’wide=$1500

Never a Credit Check: 

Since this is a rent to own program, and not a loan, we do not pull a credit check nor require a credit application. Just provide a photo ID, current contact information, employer information, 2 personal references (You Have Friends! :), and you are well on your way to owning one of our sheds. Refer to the poster for all the details.

Flexibility:

The agreement and payment amount is based on 36, 48, or 60 monthly payments. However, it can be paid off at any time with no early payoff penalty. If you no longer can make the payments or no longer need the building, simply call in and request that the building be picked up from your property.

No Penalty for Early Pay-Off: 

If you wish to buyout and purchase the building at any time during the term, there is no penalty. You may do so by simply paying the remaining balance on your rental agreement. Call in to get the exact payoff amount.

Variety of Terms: 

We offer 36, 48, and 60 month payment terms. You can pay as much down as you like to reduce the monthly payment amount. And yes, you DO own your building after making the final payment.

1. Pick from our Inventory or Custom Order

With so many options here on our lot it is easy to find a pre-built shed that suits you. However, if you want changes, we can customize to fit your needs.

2. Pay Cash or Make Payments with our easy Rent to Own options!

We take Cash, Check, Debit, and Credit Card payments. Our diverse payment methods together with our easy Rent to Own Options make it a breeze to get a storage shed from The Backyard Barn even if you don’t have the cash on hand.

3. We Schedule Delivery

Most Inventory/On-Lot Sales can be delivered in 3-5 days from purchasing. There is no installation cost within 50 miles of Pace, FL
